I'm not really sure, I looked at the link below and it doesn't seem like your numbers match.  It could be the wrong number or missing some maybe?

Anyway, here's the link for it and I hope it helps some.

Terry,

What you listed as a VIN is actually the Body number from inside the engine bay, on the firewall. Unfortunately, this does not tell us much. What you need to find is the oval plate that is on the drivers front door hinge pillar post. It says "VEHICLE" then a space for the engraved numbers below, then "NUMBER" below that. If it is a 49, then the VIN should be 12120001 to 12384500 (Detroit plant), 25075001 to 25097500 (Los Angeles plant), 20304001 to 20367000 (Evansville plant), 25500101 to 25511000 (San Leandro plant). ;D

Another number of interest is the engine number, which in some states was used for the registration. The engine number for P-17's started with (now here is the tricky part) P-17 and the engine numbers for P-18 started with (you guessed it) P-18. This is an easy way to tell if you have an original engine or a swap - which seems to be an easy way to get a "rebuild" since the engines were interchangeable for so many years.

By the way, all P-17's were Deluxe cars, but you could get the P-18's in either Deluxe or Special Deluxe. The Convertible only came in P-18 Special Deluxe. 8)
