Possible Spring 2007 Run to Rocky Mountain National Park

Post by Johnny_S » Thu Mar 15th, 2007 9:25

A few of us Colorado types have been talking about pulling together a fun run that would leave Loveland, Colorado and run up and into Rocky Mountain National Park. We are targeting May or early June in preparation for some of us going on to Tulsa in mid June. Let me know if anyone is interested in joining this very much unofficial event.

Spring 2008 Run - Colorado

Post by Johnny_S » Fri Nov 23rd, 2007 7:22

Well, Spring 2007 didn't pan out but a Spring 2008 run is in the talk stages. Maybe an over night somewhere in the northern 1/2 of the state....maybe into Wyoming or Nebraska?

Hey John...

Keep me in the loop if your spring run plans come to life... Might be looking for a road trip in my '50...

Pete

Hey Pete.....will do. Do you have a "preferred" month or location in mind?

Not sure when would be the best time for me, I'd have to think about that...

As for location, maybe somewhere in the middle? Cody, Wy maybe? Have you ever been to the Buffalo Bill museum there? Worth checking out...

Cody would be good. I would like to see the Winchester Firearms collection up there. And I'm sure there are other things in the area as well. I know I'm busy the first two weeks in June already. And I'm busy around the middle of May for a few days too. Then I generally visit family around the 4th of July in Iowa. April might be good or sometime in May....or later July/August.
