Re: Generator Output never positive

Here's an update for completeness. Battery was not healthy so it was replaced. The Generator Diagnosis Procedures section of the Plymouth Service Manual was used and suggested that the Voltage Regulator needed to be replaced. Generator Output never positive

Has anyone seen this?

Engine off --> Lights on --> Generator showing -ve (as expected)
Engine on --> Lights on --> Generator does a quick dip to -ve and will sit around the 0 mark.

I've never seen it swing to a high +ve value with any type of electrical load.

thoughts?

Exterior Sun Visor

Has anyone tried any aftermarket sunvisors recently? I'm curious about one sold at Big Jims.

The model is VS800 and I'm wondering how strong it is. I bought a different one last year from a different supplier and I'm not pleased with its strength.

Thanks guys. I just had to pull a little harder for the lens/trim to come off (always a little scared to pull too hard on these old parts :-)

Interior Dome Light

Thanks Johnny.

Odd think is I don't remember seeing any mounting screws. I'll have to take a closer look.

Interior Dome Light Replacement

Has anyone changed their interior dome light bulb? Is the lens spring attached? I'm a little worried about tugging too hard and tearing the new upholstery.
