What if it is 12 volt negative ground? I have the black wire from the column and a wire that when I go to positive makes me deaf

Fuel gauge problems

My car was changed over to 12 volts when I bought it, the only thing not working besides the radio now is the fuel gauge. On a 12 volt system will the gauges work or are they primarily 6 volt and are now blown? If 12 volt is ok, where does the fuel sending gauge get routed from, color of wire might ...

Locked parking brake

I am a new owner of a 49' special deluxe. Installed new wheel cylinders. My problem is the parking brake is froze and won't disengage when I release the lever. It there some type of return spring I may be missing? I can shove it back from underneath, so I think I am missing a part
